Setting Up a Custom Domain for Your Minecraft Server

Jul 21, 2026 11 views

A custom domain makes it easier for players to connect to your Minecraft server using a memorable address instead of an IP and port.

Step 1: Access Your Server

  1. Log in to your CrazyNode Client Area.

  2. Navigate to the Game Panel.

  3. Select the Minecraft server you want to manage.

Step 2: Open the Subdomain Manager

  1. Once inside your server dashboard, locate the sidebar.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar.

  3. Click the ⋮ (Three Dots) button.

  4. Select Subdomains from the menu.

Step 3: Check Your Subdomain Limit

Inside the Subdomains page, you'll see how many subdomains you can create.

Note: By default, most services have 0 available subdomains. A subdomain addon may be required before you can create one.

Step 4: Purchase a Subdomain (If Required)

If your available subdomain limit is 0:

  • Purchase a subdomain addon through the CrazyNode Client Area.

  • Or contact us through our Discord server for assistance.

Once the addon is active, your available subdomain slots will be updated automatically.

Step 5: Create Your Subdomain

  1. Return to the Subdomains page.

  2. Click Create Subdomain.

  3. Enter your desired subdomain name.

  4. Save the changes.

Your subdomain will automatically point to your Minecraft server.

Example

Instead of connecting with:

play.example.com:25565

Players may be able to connect using:

play.crazynode.in

or your assigned custom subdomain.
